Portrait chinois — Flow Magazine
Bonjour tout le monde !
Il fait 30 degrés à l'atelier, mais j'ai quand même trouvé le courage de rester devant mon ordinateur pour vous parler de Flow Magazine. La plupart d'entre vous connaissent certainement déjà ce magazine d'origine néerlandaise qui est enfin disponible en France depuis quelques mois. Mais si ce n'est pas le cas, il n'en est qu'à son troisième numéro, courez l'acheter et découvrez-le !
C'est en suivant le compte Instagram de l'illustratrice Nathalie Lété que j'ai appris la sortie du magazine. J'ai tout de suite accroché sur son contenu : un mélange surprenant d'articles parlant d'art, de créations, de développement personnel… Un mélange qui ressemble finalement beaucoup aux femmes d'aujourd'hui, tiraillées entre une vie de famille bien remplie, des questionnements personnels et l'envie d'exister en faisant d'autres activités que celles générées par la simple routine métro-boulot…
J'apprécie avoir mon petit moment à moi le matin ou au goûter, feuilleter les pages de mon Flow et m'attarder sur un article, c'est mon petit rendez-vous détente.

It is 30 degrees centigrade at my workshop, but gathered the strength to get in front of the computer and tell you about Flow Magazine. Most of you probably already know this Dutch magazine that started its French edition a few month ago.
I found out about the arrival of Flow to France via the Instagram feed of the illustrator Nathalie Lété. The magazine contents had me hooked right away: a surprising blend or articles on art, crafts, personal development… A mixture that, in the end, is most appropriate for a modern woman, torn between the family life, personal questioning and the desire to live through other things than the daily work routine…
I've come to love these moments in the morning or with an afternoon tea, flipping through the pages of Flow, relaxing on my own.
Se sentir proche du contenu de Flow m'a donné envie de leur écrire et je me suis tout simplement mise en contact avec eux via leur site internet. A ma grande surprise (j'ai l'habitude dans mon métier de démarcher grand nombre d'éditeurs et parfois sans avoir de réponses, ou alors des mois après), on m'a très rapidement et spontanément répondu (merci Julie !) en me proposant de répondre à un portrait chinois sur leur site. Relating to the contents of Flow inspired me to write them and I simply got in touch with Flow Magazine France via their website. To my surprise — in my work I am used to responses from publishers coming months later or not at all — I got a very quick reply (thank you, Julie!) offering me a small interview for their website.
